What's Inside CollaGum

Every ingredient in CollaGum is there for a reason. No fillers dressed up as features. Here's exactly what you're applying to your gumline, and why.

Hydrolyzed Collagen The structural material your gums are made of

Collagen is the dominant structural protein in gum tissue — the scaffolding that keeps it thick, firm, and anchored to the tooth. Hydrolyzed means it's been broken down into smaller peptides, making it the form most suited to topical application. This is the ingredient that takes CollaGum from a rinse to a paste: collagen delivered directly to the gumline, where gum tissue actually lives.

Hydroxyapatite The mineral teeth and bone are built from

Hydroxyapatite is the primary mineral in tooth enamel and the bone beneath your gums. Applied directly to the gumline, it works to remineralise the sensitive root surfaces that recession exposes, and has well-documented evidence for reducing tooth sensitivity — one of the first things people with gum recession notice improving. If you've come across nano-HAP in your research, this is it.

Menthol The antimicrobial that keeps the environment calm

Menthol is where CollaGum's peppermint action lives. Beyond the clean, cooling sensation that signals the paste is working, menthol has documented antimicrobial properties — helping to quiet the bacterial load that drives the chronic inflammation breaking down gum collagen in the first place. It's the second half of the mechanism: add the material, calm what's consuming it.

Sodium Bicarbonate pH balance and gentle cleaning

Familiar as baking soda, sodium bicarbonate has been used in oral care for generations. In CollaGum it neutralises the acidic oral environment that inflamed gums create, and provides gentle, non-abrasive cleaning at the gumline. It's the reason the paste feels clean without feeling harsh.

Sodium Citrate & Citric Acid Formula stability and pH regulation

These two work together as buffers — maintaining the formula's pH so that every application is consistent and effective. Sodium citrate also brings mild antimicrobial properties to support the broader oral environment.

Modified Corn Starch What makes it a paste, not a powder

The base that gives CollaGum its texture. When mixed with a few drops of water, modified corn starch creates the smooth, stable paste that stays where you place it — at the gumline — rather than rinsing away in seconds. This is what makes direct delivery possible.

Sodium Benzoate Preservation

A standard cosmetic preservative that keeps the formula safe and effective throughout its shelf life. It's there to protect the product, nothing more.
